texts of the month

2011 has treated me very, very kindly. I must say, despite freezing temperatures and lack of a full time job, this has been one of my greatest months. I've come to realize it's all thanks to the people I surround myself with. Every day I get little messages from all of you that always put a smile on my face, so I decided that I would share.

"Holy shit this is an angry group of nursing home folks...whew i should have drank more last night."

"We got this. Count your blessings, not your burdens."

"Merr, stupid time moving slowly. I'm so used to watching everything on Netflix that I don't know if I can function on a normal tv schedule."

"So, im hooked on The Bachelor, gay or awesome?"

"Courtesy of my ipod: good morning baaaaaaltimoooore, there's the flasher who lives next door, there's a bum on his barroom stool (casey!). Um, so I miss you."

"Just shakin' for you, that's all. :)"

"I'm watching Parks & Rec and I wish I could be watching it with you! 'Can you photoshop your life with better decisions, Jerry?'"

"People smoke a lot of pot on your floor...A LOT."

Some of these may seem mundane to those who don't know the backgrounds, but they are the things that keep me going through the day (and who could ever go wrong with Parks and Rec quotes?). I think you get a good sense of my friends. I can't wait to see what February might bring.
