The always wonderful Joe Besl dropped by for a short visit before he sails around the world (seriously, the kid is being paid to sail around the world). We went to the Art Institute (free day!) and went to the top of the John Hancock (free tickets!), then munched on delicious burgers at the new burger place on Armitage, saw The Artist, and ended the day with hours of pillow talk (as soon as the lights go off, Joe just wants to talk). He had to wake up at 5 to catch his bus, so I let him out and gave him a hug and promptly went back to sleep. But when I woke up a few hours later, I looked over to the ball of blankets on the couch, thinking he would still be there, and got incredibly sad. More friend visits to Chicago, please.
This was a really amazing exhibit called "The Three Graces" which consisted of 580-something found photographs depicting the image of three women. It was something else.
